Like many other couples of 2020, Elaha and Ahmed had their wedding plan impacted by the pandemic. Not knowing when is a good time to host their big day, the couple decided to go ahead and get their engagement photo taken anyways and went with a location I suggested highly - The Castle Rock Park in Marblehead, MA. 

The plan was to capture the sunset by the ocean but it turned out to be overcast that evening. We debated rather we should continue with the shoot since we would not see much of a sunset or shoot for another day. We ultimately went ahead and got the best out of the moody lighting of this Summer evening.

Getting our feet wet during the shoot was also part of the plan. We were hoping for a calm ocean but instead, we encountered waves as tall as few feet at times which added to the challenge between posing and staying safe. Though we took advantage of the ocean splash and quickly snapped a few frames that turned out to be one of my favorites of this session. 

A big shout out to Elaha and Ahmed for climbing to the top of the rock and going in the crashing waves bare feet all while looking so elegant. 

It was definitely a different vibe than the sunset images we were hoping for, but I think we got the best for what was available to us and coped with it quite well. 

An awesome park with a fun couple are the proven equation to great images!
