This special engagement session was done during the phase one reopening following by a global pandemic (Covid-19) crisis. It was a much needed small gathering to meet great people and stroll around an amazing park with perfect weather, an experience that’s lack of for few months due to stay at home advisory.

Knowing the importance of the timing about golden hour, Ashley & Nykita arrived to the park early so that we could get a jump start on warming up for the session. The lighting was great, the wind was calm and the park was as amazing as I remembered. We started off at the main attraction of the park in the garden, walked our way down to the beach area, then found ourselves in the open field to catch that perfect sunset lighting all while Ashley & Nykita gave me many great elements of a sweet couple that turned into great images - a story of their own.

Aside from great images we created together in this Spring session, we also built trust and experience working with each other. A relationship that will help rather largely at the wedding day that takes place the following year. It is also what I treasure being their trusted photographer to capture one of their most important days of their lives, to share their love story.
