Q & A
Q: What is your experience in wedding photography?
A: Yimotion Photography was established in 2014. Over the years I was very honored to be part of over 100 weddings in various settings with different cultures and traditions.
Q: How do you describe your approach in wedding photography?
A: I tend to stay unobtrusive and capture moments as it happens organically, but I do offer directions and guidance during portrait sessions. I like natural light specially window lighting which is soft and flattering, however I do bring my own lights in case the quality lighting isn't available. I'm pretty laid back when I'm shooting a wedding and love to hop right in where the fun is during receptions.
Q: What is your COVID-19 policy?
A: Postponement of your event is allowed in case of health crisis, provided notice is given three months prior to your date. If you have made a deposit, it would transfer straight to the new date. If I am not available on your new event date, a suitable replacement would be provided for photographing duty.
Q: How many photo do you deliver?
A: The quantity of image being delivered to you depends on many factors like length of the wedding, amount of tradition, guest count, weather condition and etc. In the past, I typically delivered 40-60 images per hour of shooting.
Q: How long should I expect the images to be delivered?
A: The usual turnaround time is in the 4-6 weeks range during off-season, and 7-9 weeks during high-season.
Q: What happen if you are ill or for any reasons not able to be present at my wedding?
A: In the unlikely event when I’m not able to attend your wedding, I would try my best to secure a suitable replacement to cover my duty. If a replacement is unable to secure, you will be refunded with any payment you have made. Luckily, it has not happened to me yet :)
Q: Are you insured?
A: Yimotion Photography is a fully registered & insured business and will have proof of insurance to show your venue upon their request.
Q: How do we book you?
A: The first thing I would need to know is the date and location of your wedding, following a consultation over the phone, zoom or meet in person to get to know the details. The final step of booking would be a contract signing along with a 30% deposit, your date will then be booked.
