Ashley + Zach's wedding - Hawthorne Hotel, Salem MA
Ashley & Zach started their wedding day at the Killam's Cottage, a beach house own by Ashley's family where they spent many great Summer weekends. Right after Ashely had gotten in her stunning gown designed by Maggie Sottero, she walked on to the dock where her dad was patiently waiting to see her lovely daughter the first time in her beautiful white gown. The couple officially got married at St. Mary's Parish, Rowley MA. The ceremony was short and sweet. We headed to the Winter Island right after the ceremony and took advantage of the great soft light from the cloudy sky, the rich texture of the rocks, sand and the water view to create some fun group shots as well as portraits of the newlywed.
At the Hawthorne Hotel, we did not wait long to get a few shots by the stair case to emphasize Ashely's long train gown one last time before it gets bustled up. Through out the night at the hotel, the crowd was never short of energy. The moment of heart touching speeches, the fun of dancing, and the joy of cake cutting all poured into that few hours. We ended up bringing Ashley & Zach out toward the end of the night and got some shots at the iconic elevator where the television show "Bewitched" was filmed in 1970. It was a magical night for Ashley & Zach which will be a memory they treasure for years to come.
