Victoria + Michael's engagement - Winnekenni Castle, Haverhill
Prior to selecting Winnekenni Castle as Victoria and Michael’s engagement shoot, we had considered many other options such as the Crane Estate in Ipswich, Queset garden or Borderland state park in Easton. We both agreed at this location in Haverhill because we suspected it’s less popular without too much crowd and it has the dramatic castle vibe. Turns out the Winnekenni Castle was everything we wanted and more.
We decided to have an early morning session for the cooler air, flattering light and least amount of crowd. We had only one hour to get the shots we were looking for that included 2 outfit changes for Victoria, a few different colors of smoke bombs, front and back for the castle as well as deep inside the wood for a twilight vibe. We managed to get them all done within the hour and the cloud even covered up the sun to create the most flattering light we could ever ask for the majority of the session.
It was such an efficient session with the most dramatic result!
